CONSTRUCTION & ATTACHMENT

The Windblade is made of tough, 1/4 inch, scratch-resistant acrylic, polycarbonate or tempered glass; while, the low-profile, trunk-mount Solstice and Sky screen is composed of 1/8" tempered glass. The edges are flame-polished leaving a glossy-smooth finish. Our patent-pending Windblade attachment kits feature SIMPLE and EASY, HEAVY-DUTY, two-screw (Sol,Sky,Crossfire), bolt(SSR), bracket or strap(XLR), leather strap (Corvette) attachment systems to pre-existing receivers of the car. This ROCK-SOLID-CONNECTION to the frame along with continuous gasket or bumper placement holds the Windblade securely in place, avoiding potential: vibration, adhesive stretching and loosening, and theft/vandalism problems of windscreens attached with tape or tape-velcro combination materials.

All Windblades can be left in place, since they are positioned to avoid contact with the convertible roof when it is raised. The trunk mount version for the Solstice, Sky and Opel GT, which will come in contact with the raised top, can be left in place or stored in a covenient storage bag (included with purchase). Remember, removal of Windblades, if desired, as well as installation takes only minutes.

SUPER EASY-TO-INSTALL LIGHT KITS are available for all our to-be-lit etched and inlaid or etched/inlay combos that we sell. They come completely pre-wired. No electrical skills are required. Just plug it in, press a button and voila the lights are on and you are done! The color of the plug-in light option can be selected when ordering a lighted screen by clicking on led light options at the upper left on the home page. Additonal plug-in easy change out lite color kits are also available at the upper left by clicking on plug-in led light accessories. Of course, if you want to hard-wire the screens into the electrical circuit, we include step-by-step directions to guide you.
